House rules

Hand values: Cards 2 to 10 count their face value. Jacks, Queens and Kings count 10. An Ace counts 11 unless that would push you past 21, in which case it counts 1. A hand still using an Ace as 11 is called “soft”.
The goal: Finish closer to 21 than the house without going over. Going over 21 is a bust and loses straight away, whatever the dealer holds.
17 The dealer’s fixed rule: The house reveals its hole card after you stand, then draws on 16 or less and stands on any 17 or higher — soft 17 included. It never deviates.
3:2 Payouts: A win pays 1:1 (your stake back plus the same again). A blackjack — an Ace and a ten-value card as your first two — pays 3:2. A tie is a push and returns your stake. If both sides hold blackjack, it is a push.
Naturals: Both hands are checked for blackjack right after the deal, and the round settles at once if either side has one.
Doubling down: On your first two cards you may double your stake, take exactly one more card and stand. You need enough coins to match the original bet.
Not offered: Splitting, insurance and surrender are not part of this table.
Stakes and deck: Bets run from 10 to 500 coins in chips of 10, 20, 50 and 100. One 52-card deck is shuffled with cryptographic randomness and reshuffled when fewer than 15 cards remain.
Coins: Free play money only. They cannot be purchased, won as a prize or exchanged. When your balance falls under 10, betting pauses until you reset.
